Ericka sent me a link to this book, probably more as a joke than seriously, but after reading the info on this page, I almost want to read the rest of it. I’ve had issues with pica on and off, more so when stressed. It stems from my oral fixation, I think, and branches into my easily-to-become-obsessed-with-something nature. Staying physically more healthy keeps it at bay, as well as the peer pressure NOT to give into cravings. I haven’t had a dryer sheet in a while now. The thought crosses my mind every once and a while, but it hasn’t been so great as to cause me to go in the basement and get a sheet. I’m able to have the dryer sheets I like in the house and not be tempted to chew them.
